With the completion of the first Cafe le Grand Winoversity Fundamentals Class this past Sunday we thought we’d get right back into sharing, teaching, learning and drinking. The second session of the Fundamentals class has been set to begin on Sunday, February 15 and run four consecutive Sundays from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
During class we learn about the Systematic Approach to Tasting, reading a wine label, all about grapes and varietals, grape growing and wine making and then a more detailed look into Old World vs. New World wine. Each night we will cover and instructional portion, taste 6 wines and engage in discussion about the wine and other related topics. You will also receive the Wine for Dummies book to use as a reference and “text” book with chapters identified as relevant reading. The cost for all of this is $125.00.
