I need to check back here more often, as you’ve gotten more prolific.

In any case, yes. I think a category “Ron’s (and/or Loreen’s) Tasting Notes” would be interesting to many people. While I don’t pay much attention to scores, I rely heavily on regular people’s and non-major critics tasting notes, especially when choosing which bottle to crack.

You might watch some Wine Library TV, as that’s an analogous situation –retail owner who reviews wine– though Gary Vaynerchuck runs a huge liquor store and never learned the value of an understated presentation.

I still really like reading his notes, and find his scores somewhat useful. I rarely watch the entire show, but that’s partly because his personality is simply way too much for me.

Yes… I think the reviews are helpful, even if I don’t get everything you may describe. And, a video may be fun!! An easy way to put a name and face with a wine recommendation.
